First Church

Ever wonder what the church was actually supposed to be like before we complicated it? In First Church, we’re throwing it back to the book of Acts to see how the first followers of Jesus lived, prayed, struggled, and grew, and (spoiler alert) didn’t always get it right. Empowered by the Spirit and rooted in prayer, the early church was called to be a bold, unified, and transformative witness of Christ to the ends of the earth, staying strong through challenges, building radical community, and proclaiming the gospel with guts and grit until the mission was complete. We’re taking a fresh look at what fueled the movement then, and what should still be driving us now.
